Allan & Cristhel’s Stoke Park Wedding Film

We absolutely LOVE the video! It’s exactly how we remember the day. Thank you so much for taking your time to craft such a wonderful piece of work. This had us in tears, just remembering the day! Get emotional watching this video, you did an amazing job! We will forever be grateful.

I was so thrilled that Allan & Cristhel booked me for their wedding. Their wedding day was to be at Stoke Park, in Buckinghamshire. I’d been there a few times in my previous career and knew that there was a famous scene from James Bond that was filmed on the golf course there.

Allan & Cristhel liked my style of wedding videography and wanted something that would capture the spirit of the day and which they could treasure for a lifetime. In our Zoom meeting a few weeks before the wedding day, they revealed to me that Cristhel was pregnant and that they planned to do a surprise gender reveal for their friends and family! Not one that’s come up before for me but I was honoured to be asked to capture this for them!

Unfortunately for the couple, their original wedding date was in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic but we successfully rescheduled to 2021. On the morning of the wedding, I reported to the grounds staff at Stoke Park, and they duly drove me in a golf buggy to an area I could operate my drone from (I felt very VIP!). The grand white building of Stoke Park is eye-catching and the drone footage subsequently looked wonderfully cinematic and I was excited to use the footage in the wedding highlights film.

The bride and groom were both getting ready at the venue, so the next few hours consisted of me yoyo-ing between their rooms and capturing them and their friends getting ready. The excitement was building and it was lovely to get some footage of Cristhel’s friends’ and Mum see the bride for the first time in her wedding dress.

Fortunately the weather was dry and the outside ceremony to the south terrace of Stoke Park made for a film-worthy backdrop to the vows. The highlight for me was when the wedding party danced their way down the aisle at the end of the wedding ceremony!

Allan & Cristhel had decorated beautifully and it was lovely to see badges with “boy” or “girl” on for the guests to guess the gender of their baby! I chose “girl” purely because I have a daughter of my own, but got it wrong as it was a boy! Queue jubilant celebrations all round and a really nice feature of their highlights film.
