Danielle & Nathan’s Wedding Film
Danielle & Nathan’s winter wedding came at that magical time of year, the festive period! I love Christmas and this made me really excited to make their Wedding Video. The day started with a bit of off road driving for me up a steep farmers mud track, to a stunning farm side barn where the bride and her entourage were getting ready. I had an opportunity as soon as I got there to set the scene for the wedding film by capturing some of the farm’s animals in the field nearby…. a true test of my wedding videography skills!
The light in the farm house was an absolute dream to work with and can really help with the wedding video wow factor. One of my favourite shots was the bride’s Mother helping with the final buttons on the wedding dress.
Back down the muddy farmer’s path to the main wedding venue and where we would be for the rest of the day’s celebrations; Ramster Hall. Ramster sits on the Sussex/Surrey border and comprises of a centuries old building surrounding a pretty garden courtyard, a really nice venue for a summer or winter weddings. The wedding ceremony which was in The Great Drawing Room was so romantic and gave a real timeless quality to the final wedding film.
As the winter’s night drew close, the guests were treated to a hearty meal, followed by the speeches and first dance. The bride’s wedding dress sparkled under the DJ’s lights and made the videography side of things as simple as pointing the camera towards the bride and groom!
