Oliver & Lauren’s Chicheley Hall Wedding Film

Oliver & Lauren’s wedding was set at the beautiful Chicheley Hall in Milton Keynes which boasts as one of the top historic wedding venues in the country. It certainly doesn’t disappoint as the entrance drive takes you up to the main facade through manicured trees on either side. You’ll see this featured in the final wedding film as the bride and groom arrived in their vintage car! Had so much fun filming their arrival and it really makes for some elegant looking wedding videography.

First though, the bride and groom preparations needed to be captured. This proved to run nice and smoothly, as both the bride and groom were to get ready at the venue just across the hall from one another. The families involved did a great job stopping any peaking, particular of the lovely bride in her timeless wedding dress. I made a point of trying to capture the intricate details of the wedding dress, along with the flowers, wedding rings, jewellery and of course the hair & make-up!

The wedding ceremony itself took place in the Grade I listed hall, and there were joyous gasps from the wedding party as the bride made her way down the sweeping staircase careful not to get tangled in her wedding dress. It was great to be able to capture both the bride coming down the aisle, and the reaction of the groom up the front as I usually try to capture a couple of angles for the final wedding film.

Onto the less formal time of the wedding day, and the master of ceremony cracked open a bottle of celebratory champagne with a sword which looked amazing in slow motion on the film. The speeches were delivered charmingly and would be used in the highlights film, as would the dancing which went long into the night.
